Position Description Our Client is seeking Engineering Planning Support Specialists to support multiple Engineering Program teams. The Project Analyst will be responsible for supporting the program engineering manager (PEM) and various integrated product team (IPT) leads on a daily basis. The Project Analyst will be responsible for supporting several work directives (WD) simultaneously for the designated program. In support of these efforts, the PA will be responsible for supporting a PM with the management of cost, schedule, and performance of the work directives. Tasks may include, but are not limited to: * Developing and maintaining Project Planning Workbooks * Support of Cost Account Manager (CAM) duties for the WDs * Risk management activities * Maintaining program schedules/development of project plans * Developing or reviewing estimates * Monitoring work and expenditures to ensure schedule and budget are maintained * Support of program management reviews and Lifecycle Management activities * Preparation of status reports and other program documentation * Development and analysis of program metrics * Coordinate, proof, manage and assemble program deliverables for the customer as well as internal status reports and tracking documentation * Project Analysts may also spend up to 15% of their time supporting the Program PMs in support of contract and overarching program duties Skills Required * Typically requires a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or related field of study; * Strong verbal and written communication skills; * Candidate must be resourceful and work independently to develop approaches to solutions; * Earned Value Management experience * Some experience with program financial reporting and analysis * Ability to initiate, prioritize, and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously * Strong analytical skills * Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) * Travel may be required in order to support customer meetings Skills Preferred * Knowledge of the platforms and programs * Experience with risk and opportunity management * Proficiency in E2S and the application of Earned Value Management * Familiarity with Defense Industry Engineering and Supply Chain Processes * Experience with MS Project, Access, and Visio * Experience with the operation and development of Excel Pivot Tables * Experience with PowerBI Experience Required Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or 5-10 years equivalent experience Experience Preferred Education Required Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or 5-10 years equivalent experience..
