Job description: Title: Program Assistant – Program Review Division $14.03 - $16.70 Employee Name: TBD Supervisor: Lori Hinkle Purpose: This position provides clerical support to the Program Review Division. Duties and Responsibilities: * Collates, reviews for acceptability standards, and prepares incoming mail and fax content for processing by the division. * Organizes, prepares, and processes letters generated by the division to be mailed to beneficiaries and providers. * Organizes, prepares, and processes dental x-rays for return mailing to providers. * Assist with preparation and mailing of mail/faxed submissions deemed as falling below acceptability standards/unable to process. General clerical duties as needed. Qualifications/Requirements: Education: Possession of a high school diploma or a GED Certificate. Important Skills and Characteristics: * Ability to follow oral and written instructions. * Ability to communicate with others, both verbally and in writing. Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail in an open work environment. Work Environment and Physical Requirements: General office setting. This position is part time working 29 hours per week. Responsibility for the Work of Others: No assigned responsibility. Impact on Projects, Services, and Operations: This position is vital in maintaining the current level of service to the Medicaid beneficiaries and to the provider community serving the Medicaid population.
