Job Description
SUMMARY: The tool room exists to support the business by providing on demand machine services to specific areas: prototyping, tooling repair, maintenance, and production.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following – other duties may be assigned:
- Complete jobs using work order system that receives and prioritizes jobs entering the tool room
- Repair work of components and small run production machining
- Repair of production fixturing and machining new fixturing for Manufacturing Engineering

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
A High School diploma is required
3 to 4 years of experience in a manufacturing precision machining environment with using a lathe, bridgeport mill and surface grinding is preferred
Blueprint reading is required
Experience working from blueprints and sketches with tolerences +/- .0005 is preferred
Experience in fixture building and design is helpful
